I began as an abstract painter but without never hiding my taste for figurative art and in general all artistic manifestations.

​The evolution of my work have always been linked to the same personal interests based on the taste for the colour, abstract forms and the gestural momentum.  

All of those dynamics have made me evolve artistically towards figurative themes, more exactly on portraits. In this new stage of my process I have explored different ways of working with the image, giving me the opportunity to build other kinds of visual narratives to enrich my artistic process.

It's very important for me highlight that I continue working on abstract projects in parallel to figurative works.

The viewer can see in my works brushstrokes, strokes, stains and figures made them with raw or sophisticated gestures that configure the themes and ideas of my concerns and personal reflections on social and artistic aspects that daily build the concept of society. I have found in colour and line the most reliable means to work and try to resolve all those personal questions that go round and round in my head.
